The 2022 Pennsylvania Farm Show officially kicks off today, offering visitors high school rodeos, alpacas, butterflies, baking contests, wine, cider and more.

For those who don’t know, the Farm Show will be held at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center at 2300 N. Cameron St. in Harrisburg from January 8-15. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on January 8 and January 10 to 14, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on January 9 and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on January 15.

Masks are strongly encouraged, but not mandatory at the resort. Free masks and disinfectant will also be available throughout the resort as well as on the shuttles.

8h: Pa. High School Rodeo Warm Up – New Holland Arena (NHA); Demonstration and decoration of draft horses for young people, followed by cart lessons – Equine Arena (EA)

9am: Pennsylvania High School Rodeo Association – NHA Championship; Poultry Judging – East Hall (E); PSU Extension Water Team – Stormwater around your home – Lancaster Farming Stage (LFS)

9:30 am: Blue Ribbon Apple Pie Contest – Main Stage (MHS)
