The Sadler Hall renovation is still on track for completion in November and a move-in date for January 2023, according to Brooke Ruesch, director of project management.
“A few of the features I’m most excited about are the accessible ramps we’ll be adding to the east side of the building to provide more abundant access options as well as the main entrance hall plan,” Ruesch said. “To further create a large space, we will create a double-level entry from the existing single-level entry. This will not only bring height to the lobby, but will bring a level of activity to the space and visually connect the third and second floors. I expect it to be truly amazing when finished.
Sadler Hall will house the John V. Roach Honors College, Academic Advising, the International Studies Program, and the departments of Comparative Race and Ethnic Studies and Women’s and Gender Studies, which are now part of the ‘AddRan College of Liberal Arts. It will also house classrooms, team rooms, student lounges and other necessary spaces.
“An exceptional new University House designated at the center of our campus is a testament to the importance TCU places on student success and academic achievement,” said Teresa Abi-Nader Dahlberg, TCU Provost and Vice Chancellor for Business. academic. “The new Sadler Hall will help us recruit, retain and support even more academically talented TCU students.”
